MicroHoo
Will Microsoft's take over of Yahoo be a threat to the internet?? One of Google's chiefs has already commented on this and it sounds really dangerous! Microsoft could really be aiming for an internet monopoly which would suck!! just like they did with the pc! imagine haaving to pay for everything on the web..hope Google fights this battle till the end!

I hope that Microsoft doesn't turn yahoo into a web monopoly. I keep wondering how long it will be until we have to pay for services or become inundated with advertisements like we are on the television. However, I wonder about the strength of yahoo, which business-wise seems to be in trouble with its lay-offs, etc. I think that even with microsoft's backing, google is big enough to maintain the order. Plus I think it's what the people want.
